I did not expect "find the metric hex-key set" to take 15 minutes. It did take 15 minutes, but I did find the hex-key.

🔥 without schlepping out to the shed in the snow.

🌎 it was in a plastic bin with old electronics.

adjusting the Peloton meant moving it. Which means that the divots on the mat no longer correspond with the feet.

so I need to wait until tonight to finish adjusting the feet.

i also did the "seat post replacement" that I should have done months ago. it was painless and fast.

preliminary indications are that the re-leveling (and general screw-tightening) will fix the scraping noise. i will find out for sure soon.
