How much should a student learn?

I find myself considering discussions of a new charter^°hard word school in Texas^°hard word, which claims^°hard word to advance students^°hard word at 2.5x the grade^°hard word level progress, in 2 hours per^°hard word day.

This raises a question: what should a second grader^°hard word who can advance through the academic^°hard word material at 2.5x do?

And an answer 🔥 of course, "it depends^°hard word". more specifically^°hard word, it depends^°hard word on how much material they are expected to learn is that they should learn enough math and physics to reach General Relativity^°hard word at 17. 💡 one cannot^°hard word teach more than there is to teach. and not^°hard word all students^°hard word can-or-should^°hard word master General Relativity^°hard word. but if they have a technology^°hard word capable^°hard word of accelerating^°hard word the curriculum^°hard word, and students^°hard word capable^°hard word of receiving^°hard word it ... why not^°hard word?
